How do I weight deals by stage?+
Default probabilities are stage-based: Discovery 10%, Demo 25%, Proposal 40%, Negotiation 60%, Verbal 85%. Adjust these to match your team's historical conversion rates for the most accurate forecast.
What's the difference between commit, best-case, and most-likely?+
Commit is what you're willing to forecast to your VP (high-confidence). Best-case is your full pipeline times weighted probability. Most-likely splits the difference and is usually the cleanest internal number.
Should I include deals over 90 days old?+
Probably not — deals stuck in stage for >90 days have a 10–15% close rate at most. Either age them out or move them to a separate "nurture" pipeline so they don't inflate the forecast.
