Cookie Policy

Last updated: May 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the site owner.

2. How we categorise cookies

SalesTap uses three categories of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the site to function. These cannot be disabled. They include things like security tokens, the consent preference itself, and load-balancing routing cookies set by our host (Vercel).
  • Analytics — Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Helps us understand which articles are read, how visitors arrive at the site, and which tools are used most. These are optional and only set with your consent.
  • Advertising — Google AdSense. Used to show ads relevant to you and to measure ad performance. These are optional and only set with your consent.

3. Which cookies do we use?

4. How we get your consent

When you first visit the site, a banner appears asking you to accept all cookies, reject all optional cookies, or choose which categories to allow. No analytics or advertising cookies are set until you make a choice. Your decision is stored in your browser's localStorage so we don't ask again on every visit.

We use Google Consent Mode v2 to ensure GA4 and AdSense do not set cookies or send identifiable data until consent is granted.

5. Changing your preferences

You can change your cookie preferences at any time:

  • Click in the footer of any page to re-open the preferences panel.
  • Or clear your browser's site data for salestap.com — the consent banner will reappear on your next visit.
  • You can also block cookies entirely in your browser settings. This may affect how the site works for you.

6. Third parties

We do not control the cookies set by Google (Analytics and AdSense). For more information, see Google's cookie policy.
