Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the site owner.

2. How we categorise cookies

SalesTap uses three categories of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the site to function. These cannot be disabled. They include things like security tokens, the consent preference itself, and load-balancing routing cookies set by our host (Vercel).
  • Analytics — Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Helps us understand which articles are read, how visitors arrive at the site, which tools are used most, and whether privacy-safe features such as saved-result reopening and export are useful. Tool inputs and generated content are never included. These are optional and only set with your consent.
  • Advertising — Google AdSense. Used to show ads relevant to you and to measure ad performance. These are optional and only set with your consent.

4. How we get your consent

Where European privacy rules apply, including in the UK, EEA and Switzerland, we use Google's certified consent-management platform to ask whether you consent to advertising purposes and vendors. Elsewhere, or if that service is unavailable, the SalesTap banner lets you accept all optional cookies, reject them, or choose which categories to allow. No analytics or advertising cookies are set until your choice permits them.

We use Google Consent Mode v2 with storage denied by default. Google's code may load before you decide so it can display the consent message and verify the site, but analytics and advertising cookies and personalised advertising remain disabled unless your choice permits them. GA4 may send cookieless signals for aggregate measurement while analytics storage is denied. Depending on the applicable rules and Google's settings, contextual or limited ads that do not use personalised-ad cookies may still be shown.

5. Changing your preferences

You can change your cookie preferences at any time:

  • Click in the footer of any page to re-open the consent controls that apply to you.
  • Or clear your browser's site data for salestap.com — the consent banner will reappear on your next visit.
  • You can also block cookies entirely in your browser settings. This may affect how the site works for you.

6. Third parties

We do not control the cookies set by Google (Analytics and AdSense). Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. For more information, see Google's cookie policy.

You can opt out of Google's personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com, and out of some other third-party vendors' advertising cookies at www.aboutads.info (US) or www.youronlinechoices.com (UK/EU).
